Story
All horses deserve our respect.
Without horses, we would not be where we are today. Prior to the Industrial Revolution, horses were vital to our survival: they ploughed our fields and led us to new lands; they had the courage to fight wars with us and the dignity to bring us home. They are loyal and have stayed with us for as long as we have wanted them. It has been a symbiotic relationship for thousands of years, one that has contributed perhaps more than any other animal to our development as a civilisation and as a society.
Horses are individuals too, with a beauty, free spirit and intuition that has mesmerised people for generations. The connection between rider and horse is built upon mutual understanding and trust that becomes intuitive in its most heightened sense. They are very giving and by your response the horse will tell you much about yourself: it is the inner truth that lies beneath everything that you show that the horse will sense and work with.
It is not the horse that discriminates. It is us.
